The 2027 Opportunity Quilt is finished. Guild members voted for the name Coastal Journey. Starting at the upper left corner (clockwise), the blocks are: Gulf Coast, MS Oak Leaf, Friendship, Alabama Rambler, Louisiana Block, Gulf Coast, Palm Leaves Hosanna, Birds in the Air, Pine Tree, & Snail Trails. Blocks repeat
2027 Opportunity Quilt Raffle
Coastal Journey's Mariner's Compass
The center Mariner's Compass was completed and was made with complementary colors to give a 3D effect using a paper-piecing technique. The colors for the remaining blocks will be drawn from hues of these colors.
